Jori attended the opening party for the Logan Square Chamber of Arts. In order for NAILS
to become a member, we must become incorporated. To that end, we are raising funds by
selling custom-made NAILS bags. See info on the home page to order your bag!
The Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival starts July 31 and many NAILS members are either
curators or participating artists in several shows. Come out and support your local
Logan Square artists and enjoy the festivities. milwaukeeavenueartsfestival.org

Julia Rochholz has a new show up at Atlas Cafe on Armitage (Armitage and Albany). It will
be up for the month of June. Go check it out!
Julia, Jori Foreman, and Sarah deHebreard have a group show hanging at the Green Eye Lounge
through the month of June. The Green Eye is under the Western Blue Line stop at Western
and Homer.
Aldo Pereyra and his business partner are working on the exterior and interior artwork at
the new 90 Miles Cuban Cafe on Armitage (Armitage and Campbell). The exterior looks great,
make sure you drive past and check it out--the restaurant will be opening soon.
The West Town Tavern accepts new artists on a monthly basis.
Atomic Cafe at Chicago and Milwaukee has a live sketching session and sale every Thursday.
Lucy Mueller has a show up now at Beloit College if anyone is up in that area!
NAILS is accepting submissions for the NAILS MAAF show at New Wave Coffee until June 22.

We're interested in putting together demo nights where members demonstrate techniques
of art making (separate from monthly critique, hosted at their own studio or home).
Email us [nails.logansquare @ gmail.com] if interested in hosting and demonstrating
your art.
We need ideas for the NAILS show at New Wave for the MAAF! If you think of any, send them to us.
Lucy Mueller is curating a MAAF show themed Logan Square Past and Present located in
the warming station. Right now she is interested in any old photos of Logan Square
(as well as current). Deadline is June 15.

Baby Alright (Marvin Tate's band) is playing Friday 5/8 at Ronnie's and Saturday

Ann Cibulskis is a member of the Lincoln Square Pottery group and they will be having a
studio party on April 25 from 6-10 pm. There will be food, wine, and a silent auction.

Sacred Art, formerly in Roscoe Village, has moved to Lincoln Square and they will be having a grand
opening party on April 23. Jori Foreman has some of her paintings and stained glass for
sale here. It is located across from the Davis Theatre in Lincoln Square. Details to follow.
Julia Rochholz has 9 pieces on display at Glitch Gallery in Elmhurst. She also will have work
in a silent auction event at the Chicago Country Club during their event on 4/24 and 4/25.
Jori also just completed a custom stained glass piece which is now on the front door of the
Sulzen Fine Art Gallery in Logan Square.
There is a vintage shop/gallery at 2934 N Broadway called Haystack which is currently looking for new artists and
artisans.

Marvin Tate is playing at Ronny's (2101 N. California) at 9 PM on Saturday in a group called Baby Alright

on Saturday, February 28 from 6-9 pm. Sarah deHebreard's art is featured among other artisans.
